2. New records in the mailorder:
AGRIMONIA – s/t – LP – 8 Euro
-Restock- These folks come from Gothenburg in lovely Sweden and deliver the goods! The demo (minus 1 song though) that you'll find on this black piece of vinyl hold 4 times thundering death and black metal soaked doom, with hints of crust, as well as atmospheric and epic darkness. The guitars range from devastating heaviness to gloomy acoustic sections, with piercing leads that flash through the darkness every now and then. If you've ever wanted to know exactly how your favourite metal, crust, and doom bands would have sounded like if they were one band this is where you should turn. I won't namedrop anything, just ask you to take me on my word that you really need to check this out if you've been even the slightest intrigued with what's written above. Even though I could drop many influential names, as well as list several of your favourite Swedish crustcore bands in the "members of" department. First 1100 copies comes in a nicely done gatefold.
ASSASSINATORS / D.S.B – split EP – 3,50 Euro
2 new amazing songs by copenhagens THE ASSASSINATORS. a bit more iron maiden meets bad religion as their older releases (http:////theassassinators). now they team up on this split EP with one of my favourite japanese bands. D.S.B. are play radical japanese hardcore punk!. D.S.B. channel their anger and disappointment into this very aggressive release. There is a more harmonized vocal approach on this release, which is a departure from their shouted deliveries on past releases. Not to worry you diehards, these harmonies will stick to your ribs!
CWILL – “Trotz Allem” – LP – 7,50 Euro
-Restock- Cwill's now 5th release since 1994. You couldn't say that they rush things. But it was worth waiting for their best effort so far. (what else should I say :) ) Brutal and melodic hc/crust/punk from Switzerland. 9 "new" songs showing again how amazing this band got over the years. Harsh and aggressive vocals over a thick and heavy wall of sound where the melodic violin fits in perfectly. Sweeping music with an eerie athmosphere and desperate well written lyrix that are more of a personal approach to political topics in a nicely put together sleeve.
DAY BY DAY – “animal abuse...is nothing bygone” - LP - 7,50 Euro
Re-issue of the complete DAY BY DAY-discography. DAY BY DAY existed from 1991-1995 and released a demo-tape, two 7inches and a couple of compilation-tracks.
They played a awesome mix of classical punkrock and crust. Fast, angry and aggressive, but also melodic and with the extrodinary voice of Tati. After they split up, two of them continued playing in LOST WORLD.
“animal abuse...” is only available on vinyl and comes as thick white vinyl with all lyrics and a download code.
DOOM – Fuck Peaceville – 2xLP - 12 Euro
-Restock- This has been released due to the treatment the band has received from "Peaceville Records", who have now sold half the label to "Music For Nations". This happened after they had assured the band that the recordings wouldn't fall into the hands of a major label. Also, for some years, the band have wanted to re-record some of their early songs, as they haven't been happy with the original sound production (Especially "War Crimes").
DYSTOPIA – s/t – LP – 7,50 Euro
-Restock- At long last, the final Dystopia full length will see the light of day! This record contains 6 new tracks, plus a cover of an unreleased song by Dino's old band CARCINOGEN. Recorded at Tim Green's LOUDER STUDIOS during various sessions between 2004-2005, this record is the last chapter of Dystopia's existence writing bleak and heavy doom ridden punk. Crazy shit as we know them for! Comes with a 20 pages fullcolour booklet with lots of collages.
EYE FOR AN EYE – LP - 7 Euro
-Restock- Female Fronted Hc/Punk From Poland. Great Artwork With 4 Side Inlay And Coloured Vinyl (Pazazar, Campary rec.) http:////efae
FALL OF EFRAFA – owsla – LP - 9 Euro
-Restock- Finally repressed and finally here! After two press fuck ups... - Fall of Efrafa´s first strike from 2006 and their most essential stuff so far.- "Fall of Efrafa are a cello driven epic crust band from brighton, Uk. Musically their style is reminscent of Remains of the Day, Wolfbrigade, Madame Germen. They base some of their lyrics on the mythological and political overtones in the book "Watership Down" by Richard Adams. This is the first installment in a trilogy of records."
FUCK WOLVES / CHAOS IS – split LP (+CD) – 7 Euro
Wow, 10 labels beeing involved in this split LP by Fuck Wolves from southern Germany and Chaos Is from the Alsace / France. Both Bands play chaotic, emotional HC....some people might call it Screamo. Don’t know....but it’s good. Reminds me a little of a mix between Amanda Woodward, Yage and Danse Macabre. I’m not really into this kind of music, but this is a very nice split LP by these two bands. Comes with a nice silkscreen cover and a CD, which i haven’t listened to yet, but i guess it’s the same songs as the vinyl.
GLASSES – s/t – LP – 8 Euro
-Restock- What do you expect from a band consisting of people who bring in their experience from bands like 244 GL, Trainwreck, Perth Express and The F.A.? Damn right - a monster of dark and brutal rocking hardcore punk, razorsharp breaks, hyperprecise drumming and an angry female singer that you would not want to get an argument with. This is going to be the new supergroup of German hardcore - don't miss your chance to be there in the beginning!
HOLY MOUNTAIN, the / COBRA NOIR – split EP – 3,50 Euro
THE HOLY MOUNTAIN hailing from Tampa, Florida! The Holy Mountain play a brutal brand of hardcore punk. Using the d-beat, the blast beat, bitter demented vocals, and fucked-up over the top guitar leads, The Holy Mountain dishes out musical violence that has been compared to bands like World Burns To Death, Driller Killer, From Ashes Rise, and Deathside. Dan from Combat Wounded Veteran handles vocal duties and pens bleak, spitefull lyrics railing against attoricities and oppression and the concentraitions of power responsible for them! http://www.theholymtn.com | http:////theholymountain
COBRA NOIR are from Montreal, Quebeck. after proving that their debut was no fluke, Cobra Noir's next effort, the split with THE HOLY MOUNTAIN, is yet another hammer to the face, this time delivered with even more venom and malice. Just brooding hardcore that rages with ferocity, it would give a Norwegian black metal goon a case of fudge-laden Fruit Of The Looms. the songs channels the ravenous aggression of almost-forgotten Canadian hardcore kings UNION OF URANUS and the BLACK HAND, both bands who clearly had metal in their hardcore before the term "metalcore" held about as much weight as "I promise." Channelling these influences through the confrontational grit and fortitude of DISCHARGE, the result is an endless barrage of bowel-rumbling chords pushed through overdriven amplification, a vocal style reminiscent of a sinner's froth-laden wailing as Satan plucks out his pubic hairs one by one and drums that border on incomprehensible while still providing the thrust necessary to make this behemoth blow the stainless steel out of your lobes.
ICOS / OVERMARS – Split EP – 3,50 Euro
ICOS from gothenborg, sweden are back with a new song of powerful, devestating and intense music filled with tuned-downed guitars, thundering drums and over the top vocals that molds together with more quiet, ambient parts. Both music and lyrics are delivered with talent, ambitiousness and a never-failing integrity. Expect inspiration and influences that range from Neurosis, Catharsis to His hero is gone and Kyuss to Isis. http:////icosonline | http://www.icosonline.com! OVERMARS from Lyon, France comes along with a perfect slab of music. the vocal attack is superb. the instrumentation is perfect! it's a great, trance inducing section of music. the heavy vocals, the slow, pounding rhythm, the ambient touches, the way the bass creeps in has the old Venom tone. The guitar interplay with the electronics during the long, methodical building process is spot on. the next vocal section is utterly downtrodden - perfect for the music which has sort of a NEUROSIS/SOULS AT ZERO being dismantled feel. the music has a real elastic quality here with the slow drum count, the jangly guitars and the flopping bass string tone. nothing but high praise from me on this song!!!
MASSMORD / SHADES OF GREY – Split LP - 7 Euro
-Restock- Two of Sweden's most powerful bands team up to deliver 11 tracks of bulldozing crustcore. MASSMORD have proven on their previous 2 LPs that they're a force to reckon with and on this split they lay down 6 even more powerful tracks than earlier and prove that they had no problem handling the transition from two to one singer. SHADES OF GREY make their vinyl debut on here and the only question you ask yourself is why they haven't done so sooner? 5 heavy ragers with dual vocals. A double dose of downtuned hardcore punk that's perfectly matched, both musically and ideologically. Both bands have excellent recording production with an absolutely huge sound. Prepare to be blown away!
MORNE / WARPRAYER - SPLIT LP – 8 Euro
-Restock- The band that stands before you known as Morne started with many trials and tribulations. It began back in 2005, and even though there were many interested individuals, only one lineup had the dedication and perseverance to make the band a reality. The band features Milosz (ex-FILTH OF MANKIND) on guitar, Jeff (ex-DISRUPT, GRIEF) also on guitar, Max on bass and Kevin on drums (both from various Boston bands). Morne draws it's influence from powerful, intense bands such as AMEBIX, NEUROSIS and SACRILEGE. The undertones of these bands can certainly be heard in Morne's sound, but they create an atmosphere all their own. http:////mornecrust
WARPRAYER features members of ripcord, dumstuck, gurkha... and its crust as fuck...
NAKED AGGRESSION – 10” - 6 Euro
Anarcho-Punk from the States. This 10” includes their 7” Eps “they can’t get me down” & “keep your eyes open”
NOVEMBER 13th – 2008 - 7 Euro
-Restock- Latest record by this outstanding HC/Crust/Metal Band from Hannover. November 13th have been around since 2003 and have been quite active since. Great hard-hitting Crust / HC-songs with lots of melodies and mosh-parts... pummeling drums and passion. Check this out!
NOVEMBER 13th – weiter - LP - 7 Euro
-Restock- Review from PE: "Stillstand / Weiter is the 2nd full length LP from this crust band from Hannover, Germany. While they have several prior releases under their belts, NOVEMBER 13TH remains one of the best kept secrets in the European punk scenes. Musically they play dark crust that falls somewhere between later WOLFBRIGADE and FROM ASHES RISE. However, these references only begin to describe their sound, which is also much more melodic and varied than those comparisons suggest. On top of the crust foundation there are also some really unexpected and interesting variations to keep this interesting and unpredictable."
SANDCREEK MASSACRE / YEARS OF DECAY – split LP – 7,50€
4 songs of mélodic crust from Zwolle, Overijssel/Netherlands vs. 6 songs of anarko/crust from Rennes/France with female vocal
SHAID – s/t – LP – 7,50 €
13 tracks of crust grind like Extreme Noise Terror, a pure agressive and violent record, a record to burn this society.
TRAGEDY – s/t – LP – 7,50 Euro
-Restock- From the opening acoustic intro to the last dark, thrashed out note this is one seriously intense album. The obvious comparisons His Hero Is Gone and From Ashes Rise are there for sure but to me this has a bit more of a straight up hardcore feel to it. That said though, this has some excellent heavy pounding drum beats happening and some changes in pace, pitch and mood that are so tight and sudden they scream for your attention. The harsh throaty vocals belt out lyrix that are written as single block paragraphs dealing with overtly sociopolitical issues all looked at from a less than positive point of view. This record is very heavy, very angry and although you will probably like it, it will not make you happy!
TRAGEDY – “vengeance” - LP – 7,50 Euro
-Restock- This is the sound of impending doom! The songs are epic, melodic, powerful and crushing - all at once!! Tragedy is fast and extremely heavy hardcore with melancholic melodies and pissed off as fuck vocals. I would say that this record is even better than their first one, even when I thought that this is not possible. You can taste the athmosphere of the songs, while the music crawls under your skin - awesome! Comes in a nicely done Gatefoldsleeve.
TRAINWRECK – Of Concrete Canyons & Inner Wastelands – LP – 8 Euro
The new full length from Trainwreck. 8 new killer songs by one of the best german hardcore bands at the moment. Those 8 songs are the heaviest shit they wrote so far and by the time the best ones they recorded. It reminds me a lot on the TAKARU LP - just more heavy and also on some parts of Burial Year. Nice coverartwork by NIKOLAUSHAUS design.
PAGDALAN - Slavery 2.0 – LP – 7,50 Euro
After years in the underground the band just released their first album, a great mix between Crust/HC/Screamo.
Listen to http:////pagdalan
PROTESTANT – “antagonist” – EP - 3 Euro

Listen to http://www.pvc-wallcityrock.de or http://troublekid.de
UNKIND – “Yhteiskunnan pikkuvikoja” – LP (+CD) – 9,50 Euro
an amazing and totally bleak and definitely their best 4th LP from this finnish band, combining a more muted and moody take on DISFEAR-style rocked out guitar riffs, savagely shouted vocals ala’ VICTIMS, and then the dark and epic scope of NEUROSIS (and their slower, low end lumbering) , TRAGEDY (mood carrying guitar riffs and solos) ARTIMUS PYLE (bursting from all of that into wicked thrash) and their ilk. The Recording is crazy serious and megalithic, allowing the weight of the riffs to be literally oppressive and powerful then just clearing enough space for the band to blast fast thrashier parts. top knotch musician ship, the mood of the whole affair somber as it can get, and while this metallic influenced crust style is seems at times almost completely currently dismissed stateside / locally, if you like any of the five bands I just mentioned, buy this immediately. AWESOME.
V/A: “Viva Koepi” – LP – 7,50 Euro
Solidarity compilation for the Squat Koepi in Berlin, which faced a huge threat of eviction in 2009. 16 Bands on this awesome record, including Bombenalarm, Now Denial, Imperial Leather, Allee der Kosmonauten, Doomtown, Behind Enemy Lines, Assassinators, Signal Lost, November 13th.
Comes with a huge silkscreen cover and a patch.
CD**CD**CD**CD**CD
AGUIRRE – s/t – CD – 5 Euro
Aguirre hail from the french Bourgogne and deliver a CD with chaotic Hardcore...It’s not the Aguirre from Bordeaux as i first thought....
BACCHUS – CD - 4 Euro
-Restock- Throat-ripping crust from Galway, Ireland, BACCHUS with a brutal new EP that pulverizes your eardrums through three lengthy tracks totally over 13 and a half minutes long. With immense build ups, great crusty guitars, savage drumming and screaming vocals: this will is an monstrous release of epic crust!! Comes in a screen print recycled card digipack. Very much in the spirit of FALL OF EFRAFA, MADAME GERMEN, etc.
CAPACES – „whatever it is, i am against it“ - CD - 6 Euro
The Capaces from Barcelona are probably one of europe's most exceptional and outstanding Punk bands. Founded in 1998, they are playing their furious mix of Punk, Hardcore and Rock'n'Roll with for more than 10 years now! Within this time they released the three full-length albums "Born To Punk",(2003),"Amplifired" (2005),and "The Restless Breed" (2007) and various 7", and played loads of shows all over Spain, where they shared the stage with bands like POISON IDEA, DWARVES, ZEKE, HARD-ONS, D.O.A., GBH,VARUKERS.... ONLY FUMES AND CORPSES – “only fumes and corpses” - CD - 6 Euro
"..Southern Ireland.. doesn't exactly have a legacy of ripping hardcore bands, so it was a real surprise to get this rip-roaring disc. Eight songs of explosive hardcore with super heavy production. In the same world as bands like ENDSTAND or even early REFUSED with swirling guitar leads and hoarse vocals, but adding the down-tuned heaviness of FROM ASHES RISE. This is one of the best European hardcore records I've heard in ages…..The lyrics are a little simplistic, but the music is hammering. Track this down". -(TB), Maximumrocknroll November 2007
SNIFFLING GLUE – “i’m not alright” - CD - 6 Euro
After a stellar LP and subsequent 7", along with countless shows SNIFFING GLUE are releasing "i'm not alright". It seems that SNIFFING GLUE have gotten popular for their tight and nimble approach to hardcore-punk. "i'm not alright" is another retro record that sounds fresh in the modern day sound scape - authentic, energetic, with lots of anger, and with speed by time - all of which is build on a foundation of solid songwriting, incredible lyrics, and the occasional inclusion of a catchy melody from start to finish. The 9 new tracks (plus one additional cover by a german punk-rock classic) on "i'am not alright" are as good as any '80s Reagan-era hardcore-punk record you've ever heard...so yeah if you want to get some kick-ass snotty tunes without fashion styled shit and tough attitudes...or you already got rid off all those classic bands that they always get compared with (bla bla...CIRCLE JERKS, BLACK FLAG...blabla), get this shit as soon as you possibly can. Maybe a record so angry and powerful that it is bound to create an instant slam-dance party in your house? Well, right you are!

Human Parasit – #09 Zine - 2 Euro / 4 Euro (+tape) (in german)
Der neue Human Parasit ist da. Die Nr. 9 wartet auch dieses Mal wieder mit der gewohnt guten Mischung aus Politik, Spaß und Punkrock auf. In persönlichen Interviews fühlt Bäppi u.a. Niklas von den Kielern Alert, Micha von Wohlstandsmüll und Nasty Vinyl und Clara von Beyond Pink auf den Zahn. Letzteres kommt in Englisch.
